I have been a yoga enthusiast since 1994, studying and teaching Hatha Yoga since 2002. After several years of study through the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago, I graduated with a 500-hour advanced certification and am registered by the Yoga Alliance. Most recently I received an SCW Certification in Mat Pilates and have been teaching a fusion of yoga and pilates. This practice offers the benefits of building strength, flexibility, and balance while also providing mindful and meditative aspects. I enjoy teaching to all levels of students and pride myself on gentle guidance, patience, and encouragement. As I work with my students, I value everyone for their uniqueness. I place an emphasis on self-empowerment and positive inner development, as well as taking responsibility for our own lives and actions off the mat.
